Psst! TechEd Attendees...Who Wants to Win an iPod?

If you're at TechEd, and you've already stopped by the Bamboo booth (# 1045), we hope that you picked up one of our "I Am Bamboo Nation" stickers, and are already proudly displaying it on your person/laptop/forehead/badge holder, etc.  We wanted to have a little fun with these stickers at TechEd, so we're going to be giving away one iPod shuffle each day of the show, lovingly engraved with our community.bamboosolutions.com URL.  We'll be randomly picking a winner from among attendees who are visibly displaying the sticker, and we'll be announcing the time and location that we'll be looking for our daily winner each day right here on the Bamboo Team Blog.

Being that Bamboo Nation is the face of community at Bamboo, it seems to me that the most appropriate location to look for our first winner is the Community Lounge area of the main floor.  The Community Lounge is located between the dining area and the Wireless Lounge.  We'll be looking for our winner there today during the break from 2:30-3:00, so stop by the Lounge during that time (while flying the Bambo Nation flag, natch) and not only might you be our first winner of the week, but we'll also feature you in tomorrow's "clue" post!

If your TechEd schedule hasn't yet permitted a stop by our booth, stop on by, meet the team, check out the MashPoint demo, and don't forget to pick up your "I Am Bamboo Nation" sticker ... and watch this space daily for clues to increase your chances of winning an iPod shuffle!

About John Anderson

John Anderson is new to both Bamboo Solutions and to SharePoint, but he isn't new to online community.  Having recently departed AOL, where he was a Programming Manager for that company's social media team, John is thrilled to have joined the Bamboo family as Manager of Content & Syndication.  As a member of the Online Operations team, John takes great pride in helping shape the creation and direction of Bamboo Nation, our nascent SharePoint community.  Within Bamboo Nation, John writes the blog SharePoint Blank, in which he (always candidly, sometimes humorously, and even occasionally informatively) documents his daily progress in learning SharePoint.  John is also profoundly uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person and is going to stop now.
