TechEd08: Final iPod Giveaway is Friday!

Thursday's iPod winnerDiego Pietruszka of Interlink Technologies was Thursday's winner in our daily iPod giveaway at TechEd.  Diego is the Assistant Manager of IT Infrastructure at Interlink, and he tells me that they've got a big migration from Exchange public folders to SharePoint coming up soon.  After a chat with Daisy at our booth earlier in the day, Diego's pretty confident that some of our Web Parts are going to be helpful to Interlink in their migration.  In the meantime, you can start working on the "migration to SharePoint playlist" for your new iPod shuffle now, Diego.

With today's postings, my on-the-ground duties at TechEd have come to a close, and I'm heading home tonight after an action-packed three days in Orlando, but that doesn't mean the iPod giveaway is over.  There's still one lucky TechEdder out there who will be our winner on Friday.  In my absence, Daisy and Julie will be looking for Friday's winner.  Since they're also going to be staffing the booth, we're going to run the giveaway a little bit differently for the final day.  Sometime during the last half hour of the lunch break (from 12:30-1), they'll randomly be choosing a winner who comes by the booth bearing an "I Am Bamboo Nation" sticker, so grab your lunch in the first hour of the break, then try your luck at winning an iPod shuffle, courtesy of your friends at Bamboo Nation!

About John Anderson

John Anderson is new to both Bamboo Solutions and to SharePoint, but he isn't new to online community.  Having recently departed AOL, where he was a Programming Manager for that company's social media team, John is thrilled to have joined the Bamboo family as Manager of Content & Syndication.  As a member of the Online Operations team, John takes great pride in helping shape the creation and direction of Bamboo Nation, our nascent SharePoint community.  Within Bamboo Nation, John writes the blog SharePoint Blank, in which he (always candidly, sometimes humorously, and even occasionally informatively) documents his daily progress in learning SharePoint.  John is also profoundly uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person and is going to stop now.
