It's always so exciting to meet people from everywhere when you exhibit at a show that draws an international crowd. But, it's a small world when you have a visit to the booth from your neighbors. Such is the case as I was talking with Vincent and Paul, two really cool guys who visited us who work for the government who spend some time at a facility up the street from our corporate headquarters in Reston, and are based out of an office in the community in which I live! They are using SharePoint and were excited to learn about our Web Part offerings, MashPoint and WSS on Vista. They also hadn't heard about our local SharePoint users group http://www.sugdc.org/ that is having an event later this month. I told them our very own Wes Bryan is going to be a speaker, and they said they had some people who would be interested in attending the regional show from their office who were unable to attend Tech Ed. I'll watch for you guys at Plaza America Starbucks! Cheers.
