Bamboo Speaking and Exhibiting at Regional SharePoint Conference this Friday and Sat!

This is a reminder that the Summer Regional SharePoint Conference sponsored by the SharePoint User Group of Washington DC is going to be held later this week.  You can get more information and a copy of the schedule at http://www.sugdc.org/index_conf1.cfm.  While I think there are already over 200 registered attendees, there are still slots available.  If you are interested in attending this Friday and Saturday (June 27 & 28) in Sterling, VA (near Dulles airport) then please find the online registration link at the above site.  There are session tracks covering development, administration, and management/governance.  It should be a great event for any SharePoint professional.

I will be making a presentation covering SharePoint Alert capabilities on Friday during the 11:30-12:30pm session.  I'll highlight some of the lesser known capabilities and configuration options when it comes to implementing this SharePoint feature.  On the whole, I really only have a couple of goals for my presentation.  Hopefully each member of the audience will  learn something about Alerts that they can take back and implement that will increase the value of their own SharePoint environment.   My second goal is to be entertaining enough to avoid having the audience bolt early for the lunch buffet!  Presenting in the slot right before lunch could be good or bad.  I will let you know how it turns out.

We will also have a booth in the exhibit hall where you can stop by and meet some other Bamboo folks.  We look forward to seeing you if you can make it!
