Announcing the User Management 2.0 - Get (and Give) Control

The updated version of Bamboo's User Management Solution Accelerator is now available for download. It offers all of the great previous features of User Management, like:

- Managing user and group creation and maintenance via a single, easy-to-use interface
- Displaying all Users and SharePoint Groups across a SharePoint Farm by Site, User Name, or Organizational Structure
- Creating new User Accounts in SharePoint, or SharePoint + AD
- Removing or Cloning Users
- Resetting User Passwords
- Adding, Removing, Modifying, and Cloning SharePoint Groups
- Adding and Removing Users from SharePoint Groups

In addition to all of these features, User Management version 2.0 now offers several new improvements, including:

Simplified Installation/Configuration:
- Eliminated need for Security Group and SQL DB creation
- Removed Service Account setup
- Simplified user access permission control
Unlimited User Count:
- Now manage as many users as you want on your farm for one low price
Site Collection Management via User Manager for Sites:
- User Management Solution Accelerator now also comes with a one server license for User Manager for Sites
      (with additional front-end Web server licenses available at a discount)
- Allows account and group creation/management within a predefined OU
- Access can be distributed to any user, so site owners can handle their own users
- Permissions are defined by IT, and configuration is limited to Site Collection administrators
- Important accounts can be made "immune" to the tool

With all of these features, the User Management Solution Accelerator simplifies user management, and delegates the responsibilities at multiple levels.
