Good morning from across the pond. The Bamboo Team has arrived at the European SharePoint Best Practice Conference in sunny London, England. We actually arrived periodically throughout the weekend and stopped by the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Center last night to set up. The staff at Combined Knowledge Group exceeded all expectations, greeting us with their friendly faces and a fully assembled exhibit space. The venue is spacious and quite lovely. And you can't beat the location: directly across the street from Westminster Abbey, with a fabulous view of Big Ben.
Conference registration opened at 8am this morning, so we arrived early enough to greet the SharePoint delegates. The attendance is expected to exceed 475. Wow. Prior to Joel Oleson's keynote, we took advantage of some exhibit time during which many visitors stopped by to say "hello" - including one of our Partners, Derek Goodridge from Workerthread. He stopped by to say hello and left us with an enhancement request to one of our products, List Print. He is familiar with our recursive development model, and will be patiently waiting for the product enhancement he reqeuested. Time for the keynote, until later...
