SharePoint Task Master R1.0 was a great hit as a tool for SharePoint project management. As a first generation release, howewer, our Engineering team has been working diligently to make Task Master even more useful for your SharePoint project management needs. We know you have been waiting patiently for the first point release of Task Master, particularly as there were some annoying bugs in need of fixing. We're pleased to announce that R1.1 is coming out next week (first week of May), and that it boasts some important new enhancements in addtion to bug fixes.
UPDATE (05.14.2009): SharePoint Task Master R1.1 was released today (Thursday, 5.14.2009). See my announcement blog. You can trial or purchase this product on our storefront.
SharePoint Task Master R1.1 will fix the existing issues regarding:
- Performance.
- Control of the window width.
- Collapse and Expand.
Additionally, we're introducing a number of enhancements which I, as a project manager, think are important:
- Set interval for Gantt View.
- Set working hours.
- Set constraints.
Here are some images to give you an idea of what to expect in the R1.1 release:
1. Collapse and Expand:

2. Set interval for Gantt View:

3. Set working hours:

4. Set constraints:

5. Save and Refresh: (Note: This will not be available in R1.1. We will implement this at a later version after R1.1.)

As I mentioned above, SharePoint Task Master R1.1 is coming your way early next week (1st week of May). Keep an eye on our storefront or, better yet, set an alert or sign up to receive our monthly E-News. We know that this product is a hot seller and hope you will enjoy the enhancements with R1.1. We are already working on additional enhancements for the future release. Please keep tune in for new updates, and share your thoughts and feature requests in the SharePoint Task Master forum.
