This Week in Bamboo (June 28th - July 4th, 2009)

For this week at Bamboo we released several patches. However, it's noteworthy to point out the release of our new product, SharePoint Filters Collection. It's a collection of filters (List Filter Web Part, Choice Filter, Date Filter, Text Filter and Current User Filter). It allows users to quickly adjust which data is accessed by a given Web Part in real-time - there's no need for them to create custom List Views. See Wes Bryan's blog for more details.

SharePoint Filters Collection (HW61 R1.0) -

Initial Release.

Limitation:
SharePoint List Filter Web Part only supports Web Part Connections to List View Web Parts and not for other Web Parts including Bamboo Web Parts.

List Integrity (HW01 R2.1.47) –

New Feature: 
Make the Parent Link ID field a read-only field.

Bugs Fixed:
• Duplicate Menu from List Integrity when Web Part Connection is established.
• Unable to delete parent list.

SharePoint Knowledge Base Solution Accelerator (SA05 R1.2.25) –

Bugs Fixed:
• Cannot search long text using Article Text (Client Site).
• Search criteria is cached for all users.

Password Change Web Part (HW06 R3.2.48) -

Bugs Fixed:
• HW06_ERRORMSG: GetWebPartText::Incorrect format in Xml file. Invalid character in the given encoding. Line 137, position 33.  
• Deactivation error on non-English site.
• Fixed reverse proxy issues.

User Account Setup Web Part (HW07 R3.1.96) –

Bugs Fixed:
• Fixed logic that check to see if users belong to groups specified in the tool pane.
• Fixed reverse proxy issues.

Password Reset Web Part (HW10 R2.1.48) -

Bug Fixed:
Fixed reverse proxy issue.
