One of the most important things I learned in high school was not to bother raising your hand when you wanted to say something. After all, if you blurted out something intelligent, the teacher was going to be happy regardless, and if you blurted out something stupid, it was a lot easier to pretend you didn't actually say it once you realized how stupid it was. By the time I was seventeen, most of my classes involved people shouting over each other.
The pro-hand-raising contingent argued that this was a bad way to communicate, and that this kind of thing didn't happen in college, but as it turned out, it's actually an excellent way to communicate -- the only reason college kids take a break for a few years is because they can barely keep their eyes open during most classes, let alone raise their hands. Eventually, though, they get older and join the professional ranks.
And we all know how professionals communicate.
See? Look me in the eyes (err... flat panel, cell phone, or whatever) and tell me you didn't get the gist of that commercial.
Big sale!
Warehouse!
Get in your car!
NOW NOW NOW!!!
At times, a few of us here at Bamboo Marketing (okay, just me) worry that we're not being quite as direct about just how important it is for you to consider our exciting array of Web Parts and other SharePoint products. I mean, some of this stuff is really cool, and a lot of it is pretty ludicrously underpriced (I won't tell you which stuff -- you'll have to figure that out for yourself). But are we getting the message out? Would we be better off taking a more aggressive stance, a la the crazy warehouse guy, and countless used car dealerships?
Hmm... just imagine....
... okay, that might be a bit much. Let's just stick with feature lists, for now.
