OK, Bamboo Nation, time to put those creative thinking caps on!
It's been rather entertaining watching the evolution of SharePoint over the years, but even more entertaining has been watching the name changes, especially given what a mouthful they've become! Luckily, snazzy abbreviations for each SharePoint instance were also introduced to save us all some valuable keystrokes. Here is a rundown of each version of SharePoint and its associated abbreviation:

SPS 2003 was good, but man, MOSS 2007 was such a great abbreviation! It just rolled off the toungue so nicely

What are the snazzy, roll-off-the-tongue, sexy abbreviations for SharePoint Foundation 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010?
Here are a few of my thoughts -
SharePoint Foundation 2010:
- Foundation 2010 (still a mouthful)
- SPF 2010 (that's one powerful sunblock!)
- SP 2010
SharePoint Server 2010:
- SPS 2010 (eh, reminds me of SPS 2003 and this is LEAGUES beyond that release)
