If you are using a SharePoint list or library to create a chart, then the new Runtime Filter View option in Chart Plus 3.5 will give you the ability to dynamically filter and display data using the Views drop-down menu.
To take advantage of this feature, first you need to go to the List View to set up a Filter for the data:

Next, go to the Chart Plus tool pane to configure how to use it.
In the Chart Plus Web Part Settings screen, you have to do the following:
In the List Name field, select a list name that you want to use.
In the View Name field, select the view that you want to filter data.
Note: The Runtime Filter Option is not enabled by default. You must check the Runtime Filter View option.

After selecting the Runtime Filter View option, the View option screen will appear.
You must select views to make them available for the Runtime Filter View. Select the views from Available Views and use the > or >> buttons to add them to Selected Views. Selected views will be available in the Views drop-down list on the chart. To reorder the views, select a view and click the up and down arrows.
Note: The Default View is the view that you selected in View Name. In this example, "All Items" is the Default View:

To use the Runtime Filter View in a chart, select a view from the Views drop-down list. The None option shows all items. The Default View option displays the view you selected in View Name in the SharePoint List or Library Settings screen:
