I have a site with a number of projects and on each project home page (a web part page) i need to place the project timeline at the top. However the gantt chart will not filter by project or by any custom views. All the tasks for all projects are shown on each project's gantt.
Trying to troubleshoot, I've created a dozen or so views; some based on the default Task Master columns, some base on my own, some are lookups, some are free form text, some numerical etc. I've cycled through these choices in the "Select a view for filtering" and nothing works except for the views that come built in with Task Master otherwise all tasks and all projects are shown together.
Is it possible to filter by my own custom views?
This is the only issue i've noticed, I can drag and drop and do all the AJAX related stuff so it doesn't appear to be a badly configured AJAX setup.
Actually, even tasking items to myself as a test and trying to filter a My Task view doesn't work. When i hit the recalculate button no results show up. If i refresh the page, every single item in the list shows up.
Hmmm sorry to hear you are having problems. can you tell us, what version of Task Master are you running? To check this, go to Web Part Tool pane and expand About Web Part. Provide us all information listed in this section.

I am experiencing the same issue. Does the Task Master Gantt support filtering?
I am using the following version
Hello dcp,
That option is not available in the current version. it's on our roadmap to provide the filtering option but it will not be out until early Q4 (~ September).
