Hi there,
i've set up an CSV -> SP import template which works nicely in GUI mode but when I execute it in batch mode it gives me an "HTTP 401 Unauthorized" error. I have to reenter my credentials everytime starting List Bulk Import (neat piece of software btw), is this regular behaviour? I am using the recent version 1.7.51.
Regards,
Auguste

If you are getting this error when doing an unattended Bulk Import make sure the account that the Scheduled Task runs under has sufficient permissions to the source and target.
If you have further issues, please contact Bamboo Support at support@bamboosolutions.com and they will work with you directly to find a solution.

Hi again,
it does, else it wouldn't work with the attended Import. In the changelog I read something about "it's now possible to add custom credentials into import template", but I can't find out how to do this. What's the correct syntax in the XML File for adding custom credentials?
Best regards,

Hello Auguste,
I believe there might be some confusion occurring. When you run the actual List Bulk Import Application, it is correct that you enter credentials in the interface when first starting the List Bulk Import and these are the credentials we use during the "attended" or also known as "Manual" mode of the import application when connecting to SharePoint. However, when you save the import template schema and configure List Bulk Import to run from NT Scheduler, during the configuration of the actual NT Schedule item, one of the steps is to define an account to run the NT Schedule item under. The account defined here is the account that List Bulk Import Application will use during the Unattended/Scheduled mode of the import. Note that the user entered in the NT Scheduler item should have enough rights to write to SharePoint and should be Administrator to the machine where the List Bulk Import is running so it can access the template schema file, ability to write to the log folder and run the actual program.
I hope this helps!
Let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
