Hi,

I've been trying to use roll up lists today, and although I can get them to work in terms of there is data in a list, I can't then configure the list view as I normally would be able to in sharepoint.

Basically I want to show the last 10 entries in a list which is based in another SP site. This view exists as a 'boxed, no line' view in that SP site. When I create it as a webpart, I see the last 10 entries, but they are all in a long list instead, which doesn't exactly look very neat. Can this be done?

Also, when I create the roll up webparts, they always create in the 'bottom' zone of the page. I can't seem to change this as this is the only option in the drop down when I go to edit afterwards. Is there a reason for this?

Many Thanks,

C.

Hello CCampbell,

Thank you for your interest in our product. It is helpful so we can replicate your problem if you provide us the following information:

1. Which file version of the List Rollup web part are you using? You can see it under the About Web part option in the tool pane.

2. The full screenshot of the behavior.

Regards,
Diep Nguyen.

Hi,

I used the Bamboo List Rollup Classic Edition, and here is a screen shot of how it looks:

And this is how I'd like it look (the orignal view):

Just to be clear, I'm only using one source list here - I just want to be able to display the same data on another site.

Many Thanks,

C.

Hi CCampbell,

Thank you for your screenshots. Unfortunately, there is no way to do this.

Thanks,

Diep Nguyen.

Okay - that's disappointing.

Could you help with the second part of my query, which is that the list will only appear in the bottom zone of the page and there is no drop down option to move it elsewhere?

Thanks,

C

Hi CCampbell,

In my test, it can be done via Sharepoint designer.

Please let me know if it works for you.

Regards,

Diep Nguyen.
