Central Administration Page - Login Failure - User Unauthorized

Hi,

I installed WSS on my Vista 64 with SQL 2005. After the installation I opened the Central Administration and I receive a

Server Error in Application "SharePoint Central Administration v3"

Description: You are not authorized to view this page due to invalid authentication headers.

Error Code: 0x80070005

Notification: AuthenticateRequest

Module: IIS Web Core

Requested URL: http://mf-pc:13675/

Physical Path: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\10639

Logon User: Not yet determined

Logon Method: Not yet determined

Handler: AboMapperCustom-83212

Can anyone give me some advice to how I can solve it? I want to be able to login as myself (administrator)

Hi,

Have you found the solution? I have the same problem, no matter I install WSS with my domain account or a local account, the Central Admin keeps on asking for acct/pass, an eventually say

HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized

Are you starting IE as "administrator" ?
