I am having problems with the installation of sharepoint on my win 7 64bit system. I have followed up on quite a few solutions found in the web. Sadly none of them worked. Therefore, I would really appreciate your help.
My set up: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 10.50.1600.1 Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 6.1.7601.17514 Microsoft MSXML 3.0 4.0 5.0 6.0 Microsoft Internet Explorer Z.0.8112.16421 Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.50727.5448 Operating System 6.1.7601
When I start the SharePoint configuration assistant and enter the database server and database name the “next button" cannot be selected. Usually this is the case when the data entered is invalid. However I can log onto the sql server without any problems.
Can anyone help me with this problem? [:'(]
