Hi,

I have installed successfully Sharepoint on my Vista Business and I am able to see my Central Administraton Page correctly without any flaws Smile

But when I create new Web Application,I am unable to load them in my browser (IE7).Its says "The webpage cannot be found" and in the IE7 task bar, it shows as Internet. Sad

I have set the same settings as "Local Intranet" but it is still not working.

Please suggest me if I am missing something.

Sri

If you can see your Admin page correctly, then you need to do two more steps. These two steps have nothing to do with Vista or any OS; they are SharePoint steps.  In your Admin site, 1) create Web Application (which seems like you did already) and 2) Create a Site Collection.  Then you will be able to navigate to your site (provided you have no security issues).  The steps in Bamboo's posting are awesome and work exactly as stated. I'm using WSS 3.0 SP1 on Vista Home Premium with UAC on.
