The Happy Birthday Reminder is a Web Part that reads user profile information such as email address, name, and birthday from SharePoint's Active Directory. When you access the page containing this Web Part, a list of animated images is displayed for the user(s) whose birthday falls in the specified range (displayed by day or week, as configured). An email is also sent to the user wishing them a happy birthday.
